The blog of Concord HomesMax realtors Curtis Tipton and Jay Gallagher offers some great articles on the state of real estate in Central County.
Normally, my opinion of real estate critters is pretty low, but these guys have worked hard to figure out how to incorporate Internet use into their business as well as spend the time to explore Web 2.0 technology with their informative and entertaining blog.
Curtis was an early innovator in software and internet applications for the real estate industry. In the late 1980’s he developed LoanStar to submit loan packages over the internet and was instrumental in the formation of a company that offers one of the most widely used IDX systems in the country.
As a real estate professional, Curtis was amazed that real estate agents were still using the same outdated business models, systems and tools that he was taught 30 years before. He saw a need for a new way of doing business in real estate. He had a vision of reinventing the job of real estate agent. He looked outside the world of real estate and took the best business practices of other industries and saw the real estate office of the future. He shared his vision with his friends and business associates and one of them, Jay Gallagher saw the potential of Curtis’ vision to change the real estate industry.
Jay, a veteran of the Persian Gulf War and Somalia, also has an entreprenurial background having founded a general contracting company called HomeMenders. Jay brings his extensive experience in housing, marketing, systems implementation and management to the team. The partnership of Curtis and Jay form the nucleus of the HomeMax HomeSellers team approach to real estate. Their office is located at 2095 C Pacheco, in Concord, CA 94520 and can be reached by phone at 925-609-8300.
