Contra Costa County Supervisor candidate (D-4) Mike McGill, says he will forgo any late nite celebration with supporters election nite if he wins the Primary or moves on to a November runoff. He needs to get an early (O-Dark-30) flight to Chicago to arrive in time to help celebrate his Mom’s 80th birthday and parents’ 60th wedding anniversary.

McGill explained, “I’m going to try to go to bed early (or at least after the first returns are reported) so we will not have an election night “watch party.” A policy nerd and a good son…ahhhhh. McGill says June 25 may be a possible date for celebration.

Stay tuned for details.
