What’s wrong with the Republican Party? The thought occurred to me a couple years ago while attending a Candidates Forum at the Crow Canyon Country Club in Danville. At this “rubber chicken” event were the Central Committee members of the GOP, who were trying to figure what and whom to endorse in the sample ballot to be sent out to voters. Republican Assembly leader outlines GOP California budget proposals

connie conway, california budget, republican proposals, california politics, gopCalifornia Republican Assembly Leader Connie Conway, today sent a budget letter to John Perez, Speaker of the California State Assembly, that outlines GOP budget recommendations for California. The letter comes after news that California has taken in over $2.5B in tax revenue in the past four months. In contrast to Democrat Proposals, Conway and Republicans propose to: Protect Education, Protect Law Enforcement, Eliminate Waste, Reduce Costs of Program Delivery, Adopt Solutions from the Governor, and that the State must share in the pain of the current recession before it further strains taxpayers.
