East Bay Tea Party announces opposition to Prop 31

The East Bay Tea Party (EBTP) has announced strong opposition to the November 2012, Proposition 31 ballot initiative. EBTP claims Prop 31 is a flawed initiative that attempts to address the state‚Äôs dysfunctional budget process through various changes to the state constitution. The East Bay Tea Party stands for smaller government, less taxes and a return to constitutional principles. East Bay Tea Party rallies against illegal immigration in San Francisco

Patriots, Yesterday about 80 brave patriots from all over the Bay Area went to SF to counter protest the illegal immigration crowd. The Golden Gate Minutemen have been counter protesting this rally for years with little or no support, but this year The East Bay Tea Party and other tea party groups joined in. We got there early so we could get into position without being hassled. The police did a good job of setting up a barricade area for us. I wish more of you could have come. Perhaps next year we will have a greater showing. For those of you that did make it thank you.
