Pleasant Hill City Clerk to resign

The City of Pleasant Hill will consider acceptance of the resignation of Kimberly Lehmkuhl, its City Clerk at tonite’s city council meeting, sources say.

Lehmkuhl had been widely criticized for not providing minutes of city council meetings and not fulfilling other duties of the office.

A vigorous recall effort had been launched.

The Pleasant Hill council is considering a move to place an measure on the November ballot to change the City Clerk position from an elected position to an appointed one.
