Republican Abram Wilson has filed campaign finance papers that sets the stage for another run for the California State Assembly (D-15) in 2010. Wilson lost narrowly to Joan Buchanan last November.

It remains to be seen who will emerge as a likely Democratic opponent in the district, as incumbent Buchanan has announced plans to run for California’s 10th Congressional District seat to be vacated by Rep. Ellen Tauscher. Failing that, Buchanan may decide to run instead Mark DeSaulnier’s State Senate seat if that front-runner for the Congressional seat prevails.

  1. You got to be kidding… Wilson is running again. Why so he can bore us again with his vapid campaigns and horrible fund raising. Wilson is such a powerful political figure that he is scaring Joan Buchanan into running for congress. HAHA. What really gives me pause is that Wilson has been spending a lot of time with the Contra Costa Central Committee. When he talks to conservative republicans he refers to them as family. As Family. What does it say about Wilson that he would consider a room full of wackos family. We need a new Republican candidate before Wilson loses another race for AD15.
